What is Plastic Stamping?

The plastic stamping process utilizes a punch press to cut shapes out of a strip of extruded plastic sheets or other non-metallic substances using varying dies.  The ability to have varying pressures applied during the plastic stamping process allows the manufacturer to create extremely thin products. Products like washers, gaskets, or other insulators are commonly made by stamping but can be used to make a wide variety of other flat shapes.

Jaco is Your Plastic Stamping Solution
